13th December 2018 The start of 2018 was an auspicious time for Ascot brewing Company, our success with crowdfunding (we overfunded by some 35%) was a huge achievement given the then size of the brewery and that we were relatively unknown outside a few miles’ radius of Ascot. How things have changes Sales are growing more than 300%, year on year. Ascot Brewing beers are available far and wide. From Manchester to Maidstone and Colchester to Cardiff. Even outside Arrowhead Stadium, home of the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs in the USA. We have installed new larger fermenting vessels, created new award-winning beers and are brewing twice a day to meet demand. We have our own micro pub in the Brewery ‘The Black Horse’. A converted horse box to take to weddings, corporate functions and all types of events with lots of beer thirsty people. Opened our on-line shop with our complete range of bottled and boxed beers. Run our Ascot Brewing on Tour events – visiting other breweries as well as Ascot Our excellent stable of real ales and craft beers is the envy of much larger breweries. Our customers are always telling us we punch far above our racing weight. From Gold Cup, to Starting Gate, 5/4 Favourite, Front Runner, Dark Horse, Final Furlong and the enviable Stewards Enquiry. We now cover a good section of the available drinking styles. Bitters to IPA/APAs, Stouts and even a Sour. We are rolling out our contactless Smart Pump Clip®, Tap the Tap technology. A programme we call ‘Thirst for Knowledge’ having secured a registered Trade Mark for Smart Pump Clip®. Recently launching two of our beers in kegs – Gold Cup and Front Runner – a Session IPA and an APA. The future is looking bright with a second funding round due imminently through Crowdcube, a move to larger premises, increasing keg sales, the launch of a canning range and building on export opportunities.
